***We are seeking candidates with manufacturing, assembly, packaging, mechanical, and quality control experience with shift flexibility. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment. These positions consist of following SOPs, working on an assembly or packaging line, and troubleshooting line issues. Position Responsibilities:
1. Operational Excellence: The technician will operate equipment according to established SOPs, develop technical expertise on the equipment and transfer the expertise to new operators, assist the line mechanic with maintenance as needed, proactively monitor documentation and product quality, flexibility to be cross trained, set-up equipment before a production run, and maintain a clean operating environment.
2. Safety: The technician will ensure safety policies and procedures are followed, assist in the investigation of safety incidents (e.g., injuries, illnesses, and near misses), understand and enforce PPE requirements, and adhere to all applicable procedures and safety policies.
3. Detail Activities
Manual Part Feeding: The process requires plastic or packaging components to be fed continuously. This requires good hand-eye coordinating and attention to machine alarms in the event the machine stops. Equipment Operations: All machines utilize a Human Machine Interface (HMI). As such, being familiar with an HMI is desired, but not required. Experience with trouble shooting problems, and interaction with maintenance and engineering is required. In-process Inspection Operators are required to inspect and document the result on in-process inspections.
Manual Component Loading Operations: The majority of the packaging process requires repetitive actions with the arms and shoulders. Operators must be willing to stand for extended periods of time while loading and repositioning the components onto the assembly line.
Documentation: All operators are required to have a strong understanding of good documentation practices.
Requirements: Ability to learn new technologies; Knowledge of GMPs; Computer skills.
Must demonstrate a positive attitude; a willingness to be a team player; strong verbal communication; a desire to meet departmental goals; Willingness to work extended hours or weekends to meet market demands.
