Marketing Analytics Manager - Existing Customer Management Analyst, Barclaycard (Barclays Bank PLC, Long Island City, NY) (Multiple Openings).
Analyze credit card marketing programs and evaluate financial results to achieve credit card business plan objectives. Manipulate and interpret large quantities of data into actionable business insights. Perform data driven quantitative analysis on consumer demographic, card usage, financial, and other process related data to drive business strategy. Perform adhoc analysis, customer segmentation and behavior modeling, experimental design and test reads, and other statistical and modeling techniques. Perform P&L simulations to establish financial profitability and forecasting. Produce P&L forecasts for campaign activity and provide tracking against financial forecasts.
Monitor and analyze credit card P&L and drivers of profitability to forecast metrics and implement them at a portfolio and campaign level to drive strategy.
Apply financial scenario modeling and forecasting to develop customer offers and strategies. Perform analysis through obtaining data in SAS and utilize SQL, Excel, and Powerpoint. Formulate test designs and interpret results, at aggregate and segmented levels, to project the performance of future programs. Perform short and long term quantitative analysis based on program test performance to support optimal marketing program strategy and recommendations. Design test campaigns to ensure the ability to have measurable and valid results. Interact with internal stake holders and decision makers to understand the nature of business problem, defining analysis objectives, ensuring accuracy of analysis, and presenting back to users with finding and recommendations.
Must have a Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related quantitative field and two years of experience in the occupation. One year of the required experience must include quantitative analytics and financial modeling to analyze, forecast, and interpret financial results for marketing and strategy development for a credit card business.
