MARKETING DIRECTOR
Under the direction of the General Manager and the Regional Marketing Director, the center Marketing Director is responsible for driving the sales/traffic and NOI growth by transforming the Westfield experience everyday for our shoppers and retail partners. The Marketing Director partners with regional and national marketing resources to lead the organization in becoming a brand led, customer focused organization.

The Marketing Director is responsible for placing a priority and focus on the mall as a retailer by introducing and supporting new retail concepts, services and marketing programs that drive sales/traffic and NOI growth for the center.
In cooperation with regional and corporate marketing resources, the Marketing Director is responsible supporting efforts to produce shopper insights, research findings, market information and positioning/visioning recommendations with the customer – retailers, shopper and community. The position ensures strong support of Development and Leasing initiatives.
The Marketing Director is charged with creating unique opportunities to connect with our best shoppers to ultimately drive traffic and sales.
General/Other In applicable centers, supports national flagship marketing goals and objectives while contributing as a key member to the group to create new and valuable programs that differentiate the Westfield Flagship Group from its competitors. Works on special projects as requested by superiors and/or other corporate personnel and all other duties as requested. Encourages and proactively leads team communication and idea exchanges to enhance the business. If responsible for a center that does not retain a Customer Service – Promotion Manager (CSPM) position, the Marketing Director assumes said responsibilities and works with other on-site customer service staff and center team members to accomplish the job function.
Skill Set Required College degree strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 to 5 years Marketing and/or related experience preferred. Must have prior leadership skills and ability to effectively manage people and processes while maintaining a positive, friendly disposition in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Must be a strategic and analytical thinker. Ability to collaborate with others and manage through conflict. Must possess the ability to manage budgets and have solid accounting skills. Must demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient on basic Microsoft Office platform/Internet. Must be flexible and able to work events and Manager on Duty shifts, which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
