The Society of the Sacred Heart U. S. Province, a congregation of religious women, is seeking a Medical Benefits Coordinator who will report to the Accounting Manager. The Medical Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for health insurance claims and reimbursement programs, as well as ensuring that Society members that are eligible are enrolled in government benefit programs. Five years of Social Security and/or Medicaid casework processing experience required. Two years experience in processing medical office claims including third party insurance programs is desirable. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance beneficial. Ability to communicate with professionalism and compassion. Degree in Business or Accounting preferred. Proficient with computer programs including Word and Excel. Must be detail oriented and demonstrate accuracy in data entry and oral and written communications.
