Tyco Electronics Energy Division is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales and strategy for Smart Grid applications.  This newly created position is part of a focused strategy to leverage our engineering and marketing resources, and help create a high growth business within the Energy Division.  This position is based in the American headquarters, near Raleigh, NC and requires travel throughout the Americas, with a primary emphasis in North America. 

Requirements for this position include a minimum of 10 years experience and a successful track record in sales and marketing.  Experience selling to electric power utilities, particularly in metering, distribution and substations is required.  Advanced engineering degree and an MBA are a strong plus.  The ideal candidate can demonstrate a strong understanding of current trends, technologies and solutions providers in the rapidly evolving smart grid market, particularly AMI, Distribution Automation and Condition Monitoring.  Tyco Electronics is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
