Senior Underwriter

Underwriter Responsibilities:

• Evaluates the credit & property doc on loan files so that appropriate decisions are made as to the acceptability of the investment risk.

• Maintains a daily workload as needed to ensure prompt turnaround times as dictated by senior management.

• Approves, declines, or suspends/ returns any residential mortgage loan submission. Provides prompt, quality service to the origination sources in a friendly and professional manner.

• Evaluates the risk of residential mortgage loans on a timely basis based on sound underwriting decisions.

• Measures all mortgage loan submissions for underwriting decisions based on company quality control plans and investor / regulatory compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work exp.

• Six or more years of mortgage underwriting experience, including FHA, VA and HUD loans

• FHA Mortgage Credit Examiner certification

• FHA Direct Endorsement Underwriting designation

• VA Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR) designation Preferred Skills/ Experience

• Advanced knowledge of real estate values and credit analysis

• Good mathematical skills

• Proficient computer skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

EMM Senior Processor

Processor Responsibilities:

• Verifies, compiles, and enters application information for mortgage loans by performing the following duties.

• Reviews residential loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.

• Recommends that loans not meeting standards be denied.

• Corresponds with credit bureau and employer to verify accuracy of information.

• Enters or downloads loan application information in database.

• Submits mortgage loan application file for underwriting approval.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 6 years of mortgage processing experience.

• Must have recent FHA, VA, Conventional processing experience

Candidates must have
