Position Description:

The MRI technologist is a state and nationally registered professional with a minimum of 5 years continuous MRI experience. Under the direction of the technical supervisor and radiologist, performs all MRI procedures with minimal supervision. The technologist evaluates the scans for technical quality and makes corrections to optimize the procedures. Displays proficiency in advanced and complicated exams and participates in research protocols.

This position will cover weekends, PTO days, sick calls, share in call responsibility and participate in holiday coverage.

Qualifications:

The following credentials are required:

• Current California State (CRT) license.
• Current ARRT (MR) Certification.
• Valid American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years dedicated MRI experience is required.
• Experience working with GE and Siemens scanners is strongly preferred.
