Machine Operator
Our client is seeking a well rounded candidate, with previous long term work history, with a background in machining and quality. The ideal candidate will have been cross trained in their previous position to run several types of machines, and complete quality assignments as needed.
This position pays $12 - $13/hr!
Plant Work Includes (Will be trained on)
RIM Molding operator
Thermal Forming operator
Vertical CNC Mill operator (run parts set up by others)
CNC set up (optional)
CNC programming (optional)
Cleaning
Scraping flash from plastic parts using a razor
Plastic part assembly
Adhesive bonding of plastic parts
Trimming plastic parts with a Razor, Router Table, CNC Router, Vertical CNC Mill,
Stretch wrapping/banding pallets of finished goods
Packing finished goods, including labeling, weighing, and preparing paper work.
Die cutting parts
Drilling parts
Pressing inserts into parts
Assist in handling 550 gallon drums
Can use a production schedule and forecast to direct his activities and stay on top of shipping requirements for days and weeks out.
Load and unload trucks at our loading dock
Reading a caliper and interpreting readings to specifications on a drawing (can be trained)
Working hours: 40
High school diploma or equivalent
Has basic math skills, basic computer skills
Manufacturing experience with mechanical aptitude
Physically able to be productive over a 10 hour shift
Able to lift 50 pounds (most work is 30 pounds or less)
Able to remain on feet for extended periods of time as needed for the job
Good vision and dexterity for detail work
Able to stay focused and perform repetitive work over extended periods of time
Able to work in summer heat environment
Willing to work over time when required by supervisor to complete orders
Willing to work a second shift on occasion to complete orders
Must be able to submit to a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening.
