Title: Machine Operator

(Process Molding – PMT I)

Position Description: Liquid Container L.P. (http://www.liquidcontainer.com/) is a national blow molding manufacturer of custom and stock plastic containers and we have opportunities for Process Molding Operators in our Modesto CA facility.  The Process Molding Operator (PMT I) has the overall responsibility of operating the plastic blow molding machines to maximize efficiency and ensure high quality containers.

Specific job responsibilities include:

• Participate in job safety training and follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

• Operate plastic blow molding machines and other production equipment.

• Assist in performing mold changes.

• Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.

• Perform required quality checks on containers and correct and adjust process as needed.

• Assist in performing preventative maintenance on machinery.

• Utilize good housekeeping methods in maintaining a clean and orderly line.

Position Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a production setting required, plastics experience a plus.

• Skill in oral/interpersonal communications, pleasant and polite to all co-workers and supervision.

• Ability and desire to willingly learn and help whomever, whenever and wherever assistance is needed.

• Knowledge of production machinery operation, including prior experience.

• Ability to be flexible and work an off shift.
