Established defense contractor in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area is recruiting for an exceptional Junior Mechanical Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the business under the mentorship of the business owner.

Minimum Qualifications

• 
  
  Graduate of an ABET accredited program in Mechanical Engineering. Physics, or Mathematics
  
  
• 
  
  Demonstrated ability to learn difficult concepts with a high learning potential supported by successful academic achievements i.e. GPA and college coursework
  
  
• 
  
  Must be able to work with all levels of the organizational and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  
  
• 
  
  Possess the ability to work in a stressful, high volume manufacturing environment
  
  
• 
  
  Prior work experience in the defense, automotive, and precision machining industry a plus
  
  
• 
  
  Candidate must be self motivated, action oriented, and willing to learn the business
  
  
• 
  
  Must be willing to work flexible hours to include nights and weekends
  
  
• 
  
  Strong emphasis on candidate possessing a high level of ability to work effectively within work groups and posses excellent interpersonal skills
