Up to $34/hr depending on experience and grade certificates. These are contract positions that will offer competitive benefits once you are hired permanently.

***These are Union Machine/Job Shops although Louisiana is a "Right to Work" State***

Position Requirements:

Qualified applicants MUST BE ABLE TO:
* Read prints
* Operate manual engine lathe
* Operate Bridgeport Mill

SKILLS THAT ARE A PLUS:
* Vertical Laithe
* Horizontal Boring Mill
* Balancing machine
* Pump experience


Duties:
* Plans work assignment by investigating machine failures; studying drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
* Sets-up equipment by setting adjustments to match specifications; testing tolerances.
* Fabricates parts by operating equipment; using handtools.
* Verifies parts by using precision measuring instruments; testing production routine.
* Documents equipment changes by completing records.
* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
* Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
