The candidate will be a full-time member of the FPLS IV&V/DQ team, conducting data quality analysis for the Office of Child Support Enforcement’s expanded Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS). The candidate will be capable of applying data quality review criteria and producing data quality reports describing the criteria used to evaluate the data, problems noted, and recommended solutions for data correction and data quality improvement. Data to be reviewed may be maintained on main-frame systems, as well as Internet and PC-based platforms. The data quality analysis will focus on regular maintenance reviews, data matches, including matches with new FPLS partners, as well as FPLS system releases.

Bachelors

• BA/BS (concentration in CS or IS preferred) and at least 5 years of professional experience with at least 3 years of specialized data quality analysis or quality assurance experience
• Experience reviewing and analyzing requirements

• Experience conducting data quality analysis and/or data quality reviews
• Experience conducting statistical analysis and familiarity with cost-benefit analysis techniques
• Experience writing procedural documents and technical reports
• Experience with IBM main-frame, JCL, TSO, ISPF, DB2, FILE-AID, and a programming language such as SAS and COBOL
• Experience with PC-based applications, Internet applications and/or Client-Server applications
• Experience in using Windows Office software including MS Word and MS Excel
• Knowledge of system life-cycle methodologies
