Job Description
| LARGE chemical company located in the Baton Rouge, LA area needs two Maint./Reliability Engineers. Must have a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or possibly Chemical Engineering and at least 3-5 years experience in mechanical reliability in a chemical manufacturing environment. Will be responsible for providing daily technical support for the plant maint. organization including equipment design, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and repair plan preparation. Equipment preventive and predictive maintenance strategies will be developed and/or optimized for new and existing equipment. Focus areas also include improving equipment performance/reliability, and reducing costs via reduced equipment failure and improved maint. efficiency. Skills: Development and implementation of mechanical reliability programs Experience with design and maint. of fixed and rotating equipment Strong troubleshooting skills and well versed in Root Cause Failure Analysis, (RCFA) Experience with Preventive/predictive Maint. Technologies Some Six Sigma experience a plus MUST have maint./reliability experience in a chemical plant or similar. Need ASAP. |
