The Maintenance Electrician 3 is responsible for advanced inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment to prolong the serviceable life of all equipment

• Prepares maintenance schedules for equipment, vehicles, and facilities
• Performs sophisticated electrical troubleshooting and repairs including wiring single/three phase motors
• Performs repairs and maintenance on motor control circuits, auto dialer systems, and general lighting circuits
• Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions

Other duties may be assigned

High school diploma or equivalent and 5-8 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Knowledge of standard practice in maintenance and repair of electrical components 
• Previous water or wastewater treatment experience is desirable
• Willing to work all shifts including: weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on call

Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)

Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)

Journeyman License

Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds

Able to climb ladders and stairways

Able to pass fit-test for Self Contained Breathing Apparatus

Must be able to access confined spaces
