This position is responsible for management of the overall mechanical integrity/reliability program. The Maintenance Manager provides leadership for the plant's reliability programs, including preventative and predictive maintenance. This position works with maintenance and engineering teams to identify, evaluate, implement and realize reliability improvement opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Provide leadership to a cross-functional team to establish and maintain an engineering, production, quality and maintenance assessment process for identifying improvement opportunities for safe production.
2. Establish and improve an effective preventative maintenance program.
3. Reduce machine downtime and unscheduled maintenance through improved equipment reliability.
4. Improve productivity through utilization of tools and knowledge of systems capability.
5. Manage capital projects for reliability improvements.
6. Implement reliability best practices and cutting edge technology into the plant to create value.
7. Lead technical problem solving with plant maintenance.
8. Implement and facilitate training programs in support of utilization of reliability programs.
9. Lead creation of reliability metrics and scorecards for maintenance.
10. Observe & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
11. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
12. Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies such as Six Sigma, and participates in or supports the E$P program.
