Temple-Inland has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Manager at the Particleboard Operation in Hope, Arkansas. This person will be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance including preventive maintenance  and predictive maintenance programs, spare parts inventory, scheduling and planning, budgeting and conformance to company maintenance initiatives. This position also has direct responsibility for machine reliability, ensuring safety and environmental compliance as related to the maintenance department, employee development and training, and downtime analysis with the focus on preventing reoccurrence.

Prefer a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience managing a maintenance department (electrical and mechanical) in a manufacturing environment. (Wood Products industry would be a plus.) Candidates should be proficient in MS Office and be comfortable learning a variety of software programs including MS Project and Maximo (CMMS). This position requires solid background in preventive maintenance and the ability to set up and operate maintenance systems. Requires a high degree of understanding of vibration analysis, infrared and motor circuit analysis. Strong leadership skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
