Maintenance Manager
Job Purpose: Keeps equipment and support systems operating by completing preventive maintenance requirements; training production operators; supervising staff.
Duties: * Accomplishes maintenance objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
* Achieves production maintenance operational objectives by contributing production maintenance information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; implementing change.
* Meets production maintenance financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
* Control down time by carrying-out preventive maintenance requirements; responding to and repairing malfunctions; coordinating schedules with production planning.
* Repairs and rebuilds parts by providing machining capabilities.
* Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
* Accomplishes production maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
