Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift (1293)

These positions are available due to increased production and Company growth.

This position will perform mechanical duties including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of various production and packaging machines. This person must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance. Provide emergency repairs on production equipment to keep lines operational at all times.  Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment including replacement of failed components such as bearings, belts, motors, power/control lines, etc. 

This person will need to be able to diagnoses problems and replace or repair parts as needed.  Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, using specifications and/or blueprints, precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and  Adjust various types of devices and control systems and
clean and lubricate parts as required.

Must be self-motivated with mechanical and some electrical knowledge including, but not limited to, machine repair and rebuilding, welding, pipe fitting, all phases of 460v/230v/120v and motor controls.

Candidate must possess good time management, good organization skills, compliance on records management, and communication of priorities.


Required Skills


Lock Out/Tag Out experience REQUIRED.
5+ years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Meat plant experience is preferred. - Electrical experience (480/110/low voltage).
Basic hydraulics/pneumatics experience.
Able to speak, read and write in English a must. Bilingual skills a plus.
Able to read and follow blueprints and electrical diagrams.
Experience in performing preventative maintenance.
Able to work extended work schedules including weekends and overtime.
Experience in a fast paced production environment.
Able to interface well with production line workers and supervisors.
High School diploma or equivilent.
