Position Description:
CertainTeed Corporation has openings in its Maintenance
Department for skilled maintenance mechanics at its Peachtree
City, Georgia facility. Ideal candidates will have 5 – 10 years of
mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial
environment. All candidates must demonstrate their ability to
pass designated Maintenance Assessment Testing, a requirement of
our existing Maintenance Job Progression Program. These jobs fall
in an hourly pay range between $19.62, and $21.11 per hour.
We are seeking qualified individuals who can weld, troubleshoot,
and repair machinery and equipment as well as understand and
maintain electrical and electronic systems installed in a plant.
They should have a thorough understanding of basic electricity
and electronics. PLC and motor drives application and service, a
plus, but should be able, with engineering assistance, to handle
these applications, also. The person will conduct PM of electronic
equipment, which includes calibration and repair of electronic
systems.
This position supports the production department, and is shift
work. The plant manufactures laminated asphalt roofing shingles.
