POSITION BREAKDOWN
POSITION:  Maintenance Mechanic  (Union Position)
LOCATION:   Pleasant Prairie, WI Area
HOURLY RATE : $22.36/Hr
EXPERIENCE:  2-3 years
SHIFT:  Candidates must be flexible - Various schedules below
INTERVIEWS: Will consist of Mechanical/Electrical Skills Testing (3 hour process) and then a formal interview.
 
SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN (Candidate needs to be flexible)
Team Schedule: 

·         36 Hour Week (Su, W, TH) and a 48 Hour Week (M, T, F, Sa)

·         6a-6p/6p-6a

Traditional Schedule:

·         40 Hour Week (M-F)

·         6a-2p (1st Shift), 2p-10p (2nd Shift) and 10p-6a (3rd Shift)

DUTY DESCRIPTION BELOW

Duties include installing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining equipment and plant facilities.  The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least three (3) years experience in a high volume-manufacturing environment.  Electrical, mechanical and computer skills are also required as well as some experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.  The successful candidate should possess formal maintenance training.  The applicant must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to work on off shifts.

Candidate must be willing to work all shifts as required in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate must know how to operate machine shop equipment and production machines. Must understand blueprints and work from them as well as posses own tools. They must be able to qualify by performance, test and manner. This candidate is required to handle weights in excess of thirty (30) pounds.
