SUMMARY Responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery. |
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on Plant machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery.
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Program PLC's.
- Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
- Communicate with operators
- Electrically & machincally inclined is a MUST
- Maintain and secure work tools.
- Lock Out & Tag Out Procedure during any work on machinery
- Order tools and machinery inventory parts.
- Ability to read schematics / blue prints
- Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced skills required in one or more of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems, and PLC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- High Pressure Black Seal License is a MUST
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required.

WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 75 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
flexibilty of schedule/ shift and working weekends is a must.
High Pressure Black Seal License is a MUST for this position.
