Reports to:

Maintenance Supervisor 

 SUMMARY

Responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on Plant machinery.
2. Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery.
3. Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
4. Program PLC's.
5. Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
6. Communicate with operators
7. Electrically & machincally inclined is a MUST
8. Maintain and secure work tools.
9. Lock Out & Tag Out Procedure during any work on machinery
10.   Order tools and machinery inventory parts.
11. Ability to read schematics / blue prints
12. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Advanced skills required in one or more of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems, and PLC programming.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
4. High Pressure Black Seal License is a MUST
5. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
6. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 75 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

flexibilty of schedule/ shift and working weekends is a must.

High Pressure Black Seal License is a MUST for this position.
