The facility in Canby, OR is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic A/LME Limited Maintenance Electrician for 2nd shift Operations



  • Up to $33/hour based on the candidate’s qualifications, certifications and licenses, plus shift differential on top of their base wage.

Maintenance Mechanic A duties include:




  • Adhere to all safety standards



  • Electrical: Use Multimeter to troubleshoot motors, wiring and electrical problems.  Replace industrial electrical components such as switches, contactors, fuses, motors, etc.



  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic: Understand system components such as solenoids, valves, pumps, regulators, etc. and be able to troubleshoot these types of systems



  • Mechanical: Troubleshoot and repair industrial mechanical systems such as conveyors, washers, mixers, ovens, etc.



  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings



  • Neatly and accurately record required data



  • Enter into and interpret data from work order system

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency required


  • Electrical License (LME, Journeyman Card or Millwright
    Card) strongly preferred


  • Must be able to work all shifts up to 12 hours, as
    overtime may be required


  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs


  • Basic computer skills required, intermediate to
    advanced preferred


  • Ability to read, understand and follow all production
    specifications and instructions, written and verbal, required


  • Inventory and maintenance systems (CMMMS) experience
    required


  • Experience receiving and issuing parts preferred


  • Experience rebuilding machine parts required


  • Machine troubleshooting or repair experience required


  • Strong mechanical skills required including but not
    limited to being able to take an object apart, recognize worn parts,
    replace parts and put back together with or without prints


  • Experience using a Drill Press, Grinder, Power Saw,
    Welder, Mill and Lathe all preferred


  • Must be familiar with welding and machining basic parts


  • Must know what is and how to perform LOTO (lock-out
    tag-out)


  • Preventative maintenance experience required


  • At least 2 years prior maintenance experience in an
    industrial facility or equivalent required


  • Ability and willingness to perform facility and
    production equipment maintenance as directed


  • Must be able to safely and independently solve equipment
    related problems with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing
    environment.


  • Advanced electrical skills such as PLC and HMI
    programming, as well as troubleshooting and programming variable speed
    drives (VFD) preferred


  • Must provide own tools



 


Successful Maintenance
A Mechanics must organized, able to work independently and with limited
supervision, be willing to learn new things and while also working in a team
environment to get the product out in a safe and timely manner, while meeting
quality standards.
