Maintenance/Production Planner
About the Job
Martinrea, a leading Tier one automotive supplier, has an immediate need for a Maintenance/Production Planner to support Maintenance, Tooling and Production Departments at the Springfield, TN Division.
Desired Skills, Knowledge and Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience;
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with a computerized maintenance management system such as MP2, SAP, etc.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and mechanical/electrical drawings;
- Knowledge of production processes and equipment;
- Computer and spreadsheet proficiency;
- Formal problem solving and analytical skills;
- Excellent organizational and planning skills;
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare weekly plant maintenance schedules, review performance and modify plans as needed;
- Maintenance and Tooling job planning/scheduling to include:
a) Issue/review work order documents from MP2;
b) Job review, data capture and data entry;
c) Evaluate need for replacement/spare parts and inventory levels;
d) Follow-up planning as required and work order closure.
- Review Preventive Maintenance work orders and schedule to optimize maintenance and tooling resources and equipment availability;
- Support purchasing requirements and assist with purchasing as necessary;
- Provide administrative support to Production, Maintenance and Tooling groups.
