General Overview of the role
You are responsible for actively engaging clients in pursuit of continued renewal of Maintenance Contracts within a geographic territory or specific customer or vertical assignment. You would identify new opportunities to expand the license, consulting, or multi-year maintenance sales and includes them in their Pro Forma Invoice (quote).  For larger license sale transactions, you would identify and qualify the license opportunity and provide an efficient hand-off of that opportunity to the field sales organization.  You would identify and respond to customer (internal and external) inquiries for administrative support and also expedite requests for information and documents; formulate responses that present Micro Focus and its support offerings in the most favorable light. You would build strong cross functional relationships within the Micro Focus group to improve the effectiveness of Customer Care.  You would ensure the accuracy and timely submission of maintenance renewal quotes/invoices within assigned territory.

Job responsibilities and Duties:

·         To meet or exceed quota for assigned territory.

·         To contribute to success of the team quota.

·         To possess knowledge and expertise specific to the business of maintenance renewals.

·         To demonstrate the ability to personally plan for achievement of performance goals.

·         To identify renewal accounts sending quotes out in a timely manner consolidating where appropriate and seek opportunities to sell multi-year maintenance policies

·         To demonstrate a basic level of proficiency of individual / group root cause analysis and solution proposal.

·         To maintain a reduced backlog of outstanding renewals

·         To focus on daily telephone work (reminding/Chasing/Convincing)

·         To interact extensively with internal / external customers.

·         To serve as a key contact for customers.

·         To support training of new team members within their level of expertise.

Skills and Experience required for the position:

·         Minimum 2 years experience working within a Sales organization.

·         Understanding of Maintenance Renewal contracts.

·         Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills.

·         Excellent verbal and written skills.

·         Demonstrated success in evaluating customer needs and developing actions plans.

·         Articulate and professional, enthusiastic attitude and a focus on results are required.

·         Ability to assess tasks and prioritize high potential customers effectively.

·        Fluency in English (written & oral).

 ·       Travel may be required.
