Maintenance Senior Resource Leader/Supervisor-Food

Our client is a successful division of one of North America’s largest food processing organizations. This is a modern manufacturing plant producing a range of many well known food brands.

The location is close to South Bend, Indiana.

12 Hour Shift 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Job Description

Responsibilities include leading an empowered team of mechanics while incorporating the highest standards of safety, quality and sanitation. Driving the IPM culture forward through cross functional teams in a supportive team based environment. Accountable for leading an effective PM program to achieve world class waste and downtime goals, maintaining budget expectations and ensuring environmental compliance.

Job Requirements

• Must have 5 – 7 years maintenance supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility or other process manufacturing environment.

• Solid PLC knowledge base.

• Operational background in electrical circuitry, some refrigeration and fuel burning equipment knowledge and experience with the repair for food production equipment is critical

• Strong communication, leadership and team building skills.

• Solid computer and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge and experience implementing TPM is highly desired.
