Our client, a Food Manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for their plant in the Southwest.  The ideal Maintenance Supervisor will have several years recent experience in Food Manufacturing.  A degree is not required but would prefer at least an Associates.  Relocation is available for this position.  Apply now as this is an immediate need!

Job Description:

The maintenance supervisor will supervise and/or carry out a variety of maintenance duties with some electrical/mechanical repairs, with responsibility for minimizing downtime, and ensuring overall maintenance and smooth plant operations.  Other responsibilities include carrying out preventive maintenance, training employees, preparing part requisitions, and performing related tasks. Good working knowledge of processing equipment, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop practices, etc. is required.  Developing and implementing long range maintenance strategy for high-speed, high volume production processes and supporting Refrigeration and facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-          Degree is not required, but preferred

-          2+ recent years in Food/Beverage Manufacturing industry

-          Solid Electrical/Mechnical skills

-          Authorizing, delegating and following-up with maintenance work-orders

-          Scheduling preventive maintenance for equipment

-          Ensuring safety and security of physical plant and facilities

-          Verifying and completing administrative work

-          Communicating department projects with maintenance management
