We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a good mix of electrical controls and robotic experience. The ideal candidate will have a good electrical background and the ability to troubleshoot programmable logic controllers. This job is long term for career minded individuals, again there is a great amount of security and the ability to grow. We would prefer someone that has worked in fully automated environments and this is a salaried full time position with no overtime. Again, we are a recruiting firm with a long standing relationship with our client and this is not a temp to hire or any other sort of program. This is an immediate full time opportunity, we are interested in candidates who would like to join a team that believes in balance between work and home, and in addition would be able to work a 2-2-3 schedule necessary for a 24/7 facility.

SKILL SET AND REQUIREMENTS:

Control Programming

·         Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platform troubleshooting and basic program edits.

·         Allen-Bradley RSLogix software platform troubleshooting and basic program edits.

·         Experienced with GE Fanuc, B&R control systems or other types of PLC control systems.

·         Experience working with and setting up of DH+, Ethernet, and other types of communication networks.

·         Experience setting up and loading AB Panelview and/or Panelview Plus HMI displays.

·         Basic Panelview and Panelview Plus programming skills.

·         Experienced working with ABB and or Fanuc robotic systems. Basic programming is a plus.

·         Experience working with Markem and or other product coding systems.

·         Proficient PC setup and maintenance skills.

·         Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.

·         Experience working with AC Drive frequency controllers and setup.

·         Experience working with Servo Drive Controllers.

Electricial

·         Good understanding of Industrial electricity: (journeyman electrician)

·         3 phase power, contactors, motor starters, overloads, fuse blocks, relays, low voltage control circuits, photo eyes, etc…

·         Knowledge of AC drives installation and setup.

·         Knowledge of DC servo-drives, (programming)

Mechanical

·         Ability to adjust and replace and/or repair mechanical drive components

·         Ability to adjust and replace chain & sprockets, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes

·         Ability to troubleshoot, replace and/or repair solenoids, cylinders, & pneumatic/vacuum systems

·         Welding / fabrication

Leadership / Education

·         Managing floor level projects / Providing project notes and updates to supervisor.

·         Degree in technical field of study or Technician specific training/certification.

·         Ability to manage small process improvement teams
