Description:
Responsible for the routine, preventative, and emergency repairs, operations and maintenance of AEGON's buildings, grounds, and equipment. Ensure work order requests and preventative maintenance tasks are completed in a timely fashion. Monitor services provided by outside vendors. Perform building and safety inspections.
Complete work requests as assigned for all types of Facilities related problems.
* Inspect, appraise, trouble shoot, and resolves mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and a wide range of Facility equipment failures or concerns.
* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, safety, and related systems.
* Perform moderate to complex repair of building equipment and systems.
* Install electrical circuits, components and devices.
* Often work independently.
* Use of CAFM systems for documentation, organization, training and time sheets as instructed.
* Understand and apply applicable building and safety codes and standards.
* Recommend and implement procedural and process changes for continual improvement.
* Arrange, coordinate, monitor, and inspect a wide range of outside contractor services.
* Handle a wide range of requests and complaints from a wide range of employee personalities using excellent customer service skills.
* Use of PC for documentation, work orders, and other duties
* Help maintain inventory of key supplies and ensure a state of readiness for likely events.

Qualifications:
Minimum (5) years maintenance experience in commercial buildings. Advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles and troubleshooting. Training in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and general carpentry. Excellent customer service skills. Able to handle multiple projects. Valid driver's license. BOMA SMT designation or equivalent helpful.
Salary/Benefits: > $25,000
Pay range: $29,000-37,500-$46,000
