Job Description
Title: Maintenance Technician
Class: Hourly
Date Prepared: 5/29/08
General Responsibilities and Function: Trouble-shooting and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems along with performing all PM’s on machines.
Reports to: See Organizational Chart
Coordinates with: All Departments
Job Duties
Repair of machine’s and building’s electrical and mechanical systems. |
Perform PM’s on all machines per schedules if required |
Install new machinery per layouts. |
Complete all reports as required. |
Prepare parts list for ordering and submit to supervisor |
Travel to multiple plants may be required |
Reporting of any safety violations or safety concerns |
Special Circumstances of the Job: Ability to work different schedules. The ability to repair machines in a timely manner with limited production loss.
Qualification Requirements: Ability to carry out instructions with minimal supervision. Good overall attendance and reliability and dependability. Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, fanuc robotics and PLC programing. Good trouble-shooting skills. Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints. Experience with CNC equipment.
