MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants owns and operates 61 Burger Kings. We are one of Michigan's largest Burger King franchisees. We have a full time position available for an experienced Maintenance Technician who can tend to our restaurants needs effectively and efficiently.

This position is primarily responsible for performing a variety of work in general maintenance and repair of building facilities and equipment. 

Resolves minor and major mechanical repairs or aesthetic issues.

Performs general building preventative maintenance and repairs to include, minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, paint,  landscaping, concrete, asphalt, and cleaning.  Also consistently maintains environmental conditions.

Is available for quick response per company policy if on-call duties are required.

Responds appropriately to the building automation and security, fire, flood, life and safety systems.

Knows and performs individual emergency procedures and duties as dictated by the site emergency procedure manual.

Prioritizes and responds to work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.

Willing to travel to several building locations in the Tri-County area and have reliable transportation.

Must be well versed and able to perform in accordance with OSHA and other related safety procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have excellent work references
