VVF Illinois Services, LLC, a leading manufacturer of soaps, oleochemicals, antiperspirant deodorant, and personal products, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician at its Montgomery, Illinois facility.

The Maintenance Tech (MT1) will be responsible for the covering and insulating of all tanks, lines, and processing units within the Aurora plant and processing areas.  In addition, the MT1 will also be required to acquire and perform painting and basic pipefitting skills, and to assist Maintenance Tech IIs, Machinists, and Electricians in performing basic pipefitting, millwright, and electrical work, as directed.

Qualifications: 
Previous mechanical experience in a manufacturing enviornment preferred.  Ability to read and write. Physical capability of moderate to heavy lifting, climbing stairs and ladders, working on  platforms and/or equipment up to 120 feet above floor level. ability to work all shifts and in all types of weather and climate conditions. Must take and successfully pass pre-employment aptitude testing.
