Maintenance Technician Walgreens is currently hiring Maintenance Technicians in the ORLANDO, FL distribution centerPerson is responsible for performing as assigned, one or more distribution center activities to include but not limited to: maintenance of dock equipment, conveyers, forklifts, batteries, building and grounds equipment as well as electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other power systems. Major Tasks - Ensure that machinery and equipment are maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practices
- Perform preventative maintenance, electrical, and mechanical repairs to equipment
- Perform general building maintenance such as lamp replacement, simple construction, wiring, and plumbing
Major Skills - Team Work: Ability to work well with others to achieve common goals
- Listening/Communicating: Ability to listen attentively to others, ask appropriate questions, and speak in a clear and understandable manner
- Following Procedures: Ability to maintain standards and follow procedures
- Trained or familiar with OSHA safety procedures such as Lockout/Tagout, use of PPE, Electrical Safe Work Practices (ESWP) and ARC flash.
Responsibilities include PMs, projects & repairs to equipment/building. Requires 2+ years hands-on experience with: -General building maintenance -Electrical systems & repair - Electronic systems & repair - Mechanical & electrical circuitry - HVAC - Industrial lift repair and maintenance In addition to PC proficiency; and ability to work any weekend shift that consists of 4 days (Thurs & Fri from 12noon-10pm, and Sat & Sun from 7am-5pm)
