Major Account Manager

 

As a Major Account Manager, you are responsible for business development, and increasing sales and placements by introducing products and services we offer in a major account setting. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • New business prospecting and development, including cold-calling; scheduling appointments; and preparing presentations, new proposals, and bid specifications to strategically win new opportunities.
  • Attending manufacturer-given training workshops to increase product knowledge and to stay abreast of technology, pricing, and strategies.
  • Participating in monthly trade shows, demonstrations, open houses, and product promotions.
  • Understanding of advanced selling skills, with exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities to work within a professional, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to contact multiple levels of decision makers in National / Major account setting.
  • Working the necessary hours each week and doing the necessary activities to guarantee your success.

 

Qualified candidates will have:

  • 7 or more years’ business-to-business selling experience within the office equipment industry.
  • Superior knowledge of advanced sales techniques including cold-calling, networking, lead generation, all with the ability to capture and close the deal.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proven history of contacting C-Level Executives in a Fortune-500 environment.

Account Manager

Marketing Representative

We are also currently looking for Part-time Marketing Representatives – These appointment setters in our Kenilworth office are responsible for contacting new and existing clients to set appointments for our outside account executives. Job duties include meeting minimum daily call requirements, properly qualifying all leads, and maintaining up to date records and tracking of all appointments until a sale is made.

 

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

  • Self Motivation with strong initiative to succeed
  • Basic PC skills, Microsoft Word, Ect.
