MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER
Our client is searching for a Major Gifts Officer. The potential candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive major gifts program, to include identifying, cultivating and soliciting emerging capital and major gift donors with an annual expectation of personal visits with prospects/donors and gift income productivity.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of capital and major gift prospects to assess ability, cultivate relationships, solicit gifts and provide excellent stewardship. Plan and implement marketing strategies and marketing campaigns for capital and major gift donor recognition. Devise, recommend, and execute cultivation and solicitation strategies for a select group of donors and prospects. Requirements
Bachelor's Degree At least four years experience in professional development Excellent communication, organization and writing skills. A demonstrated ability to choreograph as well as make the ask. Strong knowledge of fund raising activities, including the attraction of major gifts. Ability to travel
