Major Gifts Officer
Our client company located in Chicago, is searching for a Major Gifts Officer. The Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for securing contributions to the University, from major gift prospects and corporations. This leader will work with the team to secure individual and corporate gift, and work with others within the school to build corporate and individual donor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Management and enhancement of donor portfolio
- Solicitations and cultivation of new gifts
- Interfacing with trustees, staff, and volunteers
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Professional development experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization and writing skills.
- A demonstrated ability to choreograph as well as make the ask.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented.
- Ability to travel.
