This is the lead management position associated with this contract. The position will be located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for one of Verizon's most prestigious clients. This leadership position requires a highly seasoned business professional who will be responsible for all contract deliverables. This will entail the management of a program management team that will be functionally focused as well as the matrix management of all internal Verizon Business organizations and all outside vendors that contribute to the delivery of contract terms. Executive level interaction through a formal governance program is also an important responsibility as are executive level communications and executive level escalations. Highly developed interpersonal skills are a must as is previous program management experience.
Requirements
Requirements: 10 Years Experience in Commercial or Government Program/Project Management. A successful Track Record in Managing Complex Global Environments. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Computer Science or Engineering or Equivalent. Experience: 15 Years Experience in Telecommunications or Information Technology Responsibilities: Contract Deliverables, Vendor Management, Program Governance, Executive Communications, Management of Employees Travel When Necessary. ITIL and/or PMP Certification.
