Baylor Health Care System is a not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system with many care locations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth community.
Mammography Technologist
At Baylor Health Care System, we offer you more than a job. Our mammography technologists play a vital role in moving our hospitals to the next level of caring.
Mammography techs at Baylor coordinate and administer all mammography procedures using state-of-the-art equipment. But they provide more than just medical images. They offer assessment, reassurance and a direction for the move to diagnosis and recovery.
Mammography techs assist with advanced exams such as breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound guided biopsies, cyst aspirations and needle localizations. They ensure technical quality of procedures and maintain knowledge of quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other regulatory guidelines.
They also play an integral role in implementing technology upgrades such as an enterprise RIS / PACS system, connecting all Baylor facilities via a single radiology database. And our extensive clinical affiliations give most of the radiology team the opportunity to teach and share their expertise.
We have career opportunities available for all levels of mammography technologists on all shifts, including Two-Day Alternative, weekdays, nights and PRN, and at all of our system hospitals.
