Diagnostic Health Corporation, multi-modality facilities offering a combination of outpatient diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine services currently has an evening shift Mammographer position open at it’s Arlington, TX facility
Responsibilities
§ Ensures operational excellence and quality of care in the facility
§ Demonstrates use of proper positioning to produce quality mammography studies
§ Maintains quality of mammography services in an efficient and effective manner
§ Utilizes mammography equipment and protocols to produce mammography studies
§ Clinically analyze information to assist interpretive physician(s)
§ Assists physician with procedures such as biopsies as required by facility and in accordance to the standard of care
§ Demonstrates knowledge of all equipment to provide a safe environment for patients and staff
§ Utilizes information and skills necessary to perform assigned maintenance responsibilities
§ Maintains equipment to include daily cleaning, inspection, calibration of equipment, and troubleshooting
§ Uses mammography equipment, hardcopy devices, film processing equipment, written and/or other recorded formats
§ Utilizes knowledge of mammography safety
§ Performs proper Mammography safely
§ Appropriately modifies approach to patients based upon patient age, cognitive state, and other factors utilizing developmental perspective
§ Completes other assigned duties as needed
Position Requirements
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
Shift Hours: 11:30 am - 8:00 pm
Education
Graduated from an accredited school of radiological technology program. One (1) year of mammography experience preferred.
