The Managed Assets Representative I manages a portfolio of open, adversely graded credit relationships with small business clients for the purpose of preserving loan principal, collecting interest and preventing loans from being charged off. Provides proper reporting to management according to bank policies and OCC requirements.Improves the overall quality of the portfolio through negotiating satisfactory repayment schedules, obtaining additional collateral and/or restructuring credit facilities, as appropriate. Reviews existing loan documentation for errors and omissions, and evaluate client's financial strength and capacity to repay outstanding debt. Develops and implements a plan of action to protect and improve the bank's position in the credit. Negotiates a satisfactory restructure of the credit facilities and obtains additional collateral as appropriate. Monitors plan of action for the desired results. Takes legal action when necessary to protect interests of the bank. Documents all contacts, agreements and discussions that transpire with the client.  Manages a portfolio of up to 125 + adversely graded relationships where relationships have aggregate business credit exposure of up to $100,000.  Knowledge of federal bankruptcy and state collection laws. Basic knowledge of loan and deposit systems, business loan sales and underwriting process, and real estate collateral. Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as analytic and problem solving skills. Excellent PC skills.
M-F 8am-5pm, addit. hours as needed

Candidate must have 2+ years loan collection experience and knowledge of federal bankruptcy and state collection laws,Business loan collection experience is preferred.
Experience analyzing financial statements and proposing restructuring and workout solutions preferred
Knowledge of bankruptcy and liquidation preferred
Must be able to independently manage work load
Basic knowledge of loan and deposit systems, business loan sales and underwriting process, and real estate collateral is preferred.
Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as analytic and problem solving skills. Excellent PC skills.
Must have stable work history
