Management Assessment Specialist

CGI Federal, a wholly owned subsidiary of CGI, has an opening in New York, NY for a Management Assessment Specialist (MAS), involving a large, multi-year contract CGI has with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Accordingly, the MAS will be responsible for carrying out the following tasks: conducting Management and Occupancy Reviews of assigned properties to ensure Civil Rights compliance; providing HUD with contract opt-out/termination notices; maintaining appropriate resident data; assisting in the resolution of life threatening and non-life threatening health and safety issues; monitoring physical inspection results, and providing technical assistance to landlords to improve business processes. To qualify, applicants must have at least three years of general business experience; ability to work independently, as well as on a team; working knowledge of Word and Excel; and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants must be able to travel approximately 75% of the work week, mostly local, and might require an occasional overnight; undergraduate degree in business or related field is required.
