Job Summary
The Manager of Account Services is a management role, heading up a team of Account Managers that provide direct client facing support to our clients in assigned territory.
Essential Functions
- Meet individually with Account Managers to jointly develop and agree upon written goals and objectives, training, performance management and career development plans.
- Meet with your team regularly to review service levels/performance and obtain feedback.
- Assess and define department training needs and participate in cross training, on-the-job training and new hire training.
- Consistently meet/exceed customer service standards and act as the “voice of the customer” .
- Establish and consistently help your team meet/exceed department service goals & objectives.
- Educate customer on Iron Mountain products and services.
- Research and respond to high level customer issues.
- Act as a regional and/or district resource to account management personnel regarding account management issues; attend district meetings, interface with appropriate departments as needed.
- Conduct customer and prospect facility tours.
- Strategize with Account Managers to implement and communicate timely contract renewals and pricing management to our clients.
- Review and audit monthly reports in order to understand and communicate results.
- Recommend solutions and changes for improving district(s) financial performance.
- Assist in budget input and revenue forecast as requested.
- Identify and sell special and one-time projects.
- Write and present proposals; develop and deliver customer presentations.
- Provide assistance to the Sales Department in Premium and Large Volume Accounts.
- Develop and administer Key Account Plans.

Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- BS Degree with minimum 5 years account/management sales experience that includes the following: contract negotiations, customer interactions, closing the deal, customizing solutions for customers, analyzing customer/market data, delivering sales presentations, budget preparation/analysis.
- 5 years management experience of account managers or client facing staff to include mentoring, coaching, developing/monitoring of goals/objectives, developing/delivering customer/manager presentations, responsible for budget performance, responsible for setting strategy for account development.
- Account management experience of a client facing nature with "C" level contacts.
- Computer experience to include MS Office and Outlook.
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record and be able to pass pre-employment substance abuse screening and a background check.
The ideal candidate will have current exp. in Account/Management Sales experience.
