The Broker Relationship Manager will identify and build sales production for our UnitedHealthcare Medicare Solutions in Utah through our agent/broker distribution channel. Primary Responsibilities:
 
  • Identify top producers, building long-term relationships and maximizing their sales success.

  • Ensure local agents are efficiently trained and effective in selling our entire product portfolio.

  • Ensure agents are using our needs based selling methodology so the customer selects the appropriate insurance product that meets their explicit health care needs.

  • Utilize selling and presentation skills to achieve new business sales with a broad portfolio of products.

  • Ensure agents understand state and federal regulations to be in compliance with all sales and marketing practices as well as business policy and procedures of Ovations. Achieve expected company new business growth goals, profitability and customer retention. 

 


 


  • Experience in a business environment with the independent Broker/Agent community - direct, individual sales

  • A background in business development

  • Experience in building strong business relationships with new producers and maintaining loyalty and business growth with existing agent producers

  • Proficient in the use and application of Microsoft software applications and other company system and software applications

  • Strong overall communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • A Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in the healthcare industry

  • Medicare and Medicaid experience

  • A current health and life insurance license
