Lead Proposal Development TEAM: Salary Plus Bonus
Under the direction of the Marketing Director, responsible for the management and oversight of the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other bids to be submitted to customers and prospects. The Bids and Proposals Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement of the processes used to complete winning proposals. Position is within the School Systems Group and requires significant experience in responding to bids & proposals, preferably in the education or public sector, strong strategic proposal editing and writing skills and ability to discern customers drivers in RFP process. Manage the end-to-end proposal process for the team ensuring all stakeholders and participants in the process understand and follow the process to ensure timely, complete, successful proposals are submitted correctly. Identify and pre-qualify RFP's and RFI's in the education market. Initiate and facilitate proposal oriented meetings and reviews serving as primary point of contact for proposal oriented activities. Facilitates bid/no bid decisions with the sales and leadership teams along with Pre-Proposal Planning meetings with the Account Team, to ensure the appropriate steps are taken to maximize the proposal's chances of success. Manage proposal team and selection of team while motivating and coordinating creative effort and Project Managing the entire process through to successful completion.
