Cullen’s Communications is a growth oriented telephone answering service located in Goshen, NY. We specialize in the medical field, however we also answer telephones for funeral homes, towing companies, lawyers and other small businesses. We have roughly 300 clients and handle around 3000 calls per day.
We have an immediate career opportunity available for an answering service manager with proven people management and team building skills. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the answering service and ensure that established goals are not only achieved, but exceeded. The right candidate loves a challenge and can demonstrate their ability to promote continuous improvement, achieve results and lead change.
Responsibilities include:
Managing all facets of the answering service operation including policies and procedures, process consistency and compliance, quality performance, productivity, overall personnel hiring and development, and day-to-day performance management.
Achieving and maintaining a collaborative working relationship with clients.
Work with our sales team to set up and help facilitate a smooth transition for new clients.
Establishing controls and managing adherence to company policies.
Managing the answering service facility including budget planning and expense management.
Providing systems’ design and operational performance enhancement strategies.
Managing 15 employees.
We operate 24/7 and this position requires the manager to be available should an emergency arise.
Requirements:
4-6 years call center or answering service management experience in either a leadership support function or call center/answering service supervisor/manager role.
Demonstrated managerial and leadership skills with proven ability to interact effectively with peers and partners.
Demonstrated ability to formulate, implement and evaluate plans and projects applicable to assigned area.
Strong commitment to customer service.
Proven ability to coach, develop and mentor staff—exemplary interpersonal skills,
strong organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of basic computer programs with the ability to learn and troubleshoot daily computer issues.
We operate 24/7 and this position requires the manager to be available should an emergency arise.
Personal transportation is a must.
