| Description | Using the computerized scheduling system, generates data for all future bookings for Major and Minor OR'S Surgicenter, Laser Center, and Admissions. Incorporates and adheres to scheduling guidelines for each of these areas. Recognizes and incorporates all equipment needs either by procedure or by physician preference, and confirms the availability for the duration of procedure. Identifies those physicians requiring more or less time by procedure and overrides the time held by the system. |
| Requirements | High School, preferably some college. Medical terminology strongly preferred, typing, and an understanding of computer dat entry. At least three years of business or hospital experience and an ability to interpret and integrate graphic displays. Keyboard for long periods of time. Must act well under pressure, have a good telephone personality, a proven ability to get along well with others and to deal in a tactful and diplomatic fashion as required. |
