Summary




  • Manage ARIAD’s global supply chain to support global clinical studies to ensure supply and demand are in balance

  • Coordinate and collaborate with partners, contract manufacturers (CMO), suppliers, and internal ARIAD teams to ensure production timelines are met
  • Work closely with the distributor, logistics providers and clinical research organization (CRO) to ensure clinical materials are delivered to sites as planned under the proper temperature conditions
  • Communicate changes to the plan to all parties to ensure everyone is working towards the same revised goal/plan
  • Develop and implement operating procedures and metrics to measure and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of ARIAD’s operations

 


Duties and Responsibilities


 



  • Manage the supply chain operations with CMOs, suppliers, partners, and internal ARIAD teams to ensure supply is available as planned to meet global demand requirements
  • Ensure all external suppliers and internal teams meet GMP, GCP and other regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Work with external parties to manage the importation process to support ARIAD’s global clinical network
  • Develop, communicate and implement contingency plans for unplanned events
  • Lead and demonstrate influence across cross functional teams, partners, and global vendors/suppliers
  • Analyze and translate data into actionable recommendations to improvement the process
  • Review supply chain invoices against approved quotations and resolve any discrepancies with the vendors in a timely manner

 


 


Requirements


 



  • 10+ years in supply chain arena
  • 5+ years managerial experience or equivalent
  • Experience working effectively with international suppliers and distributors
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and meeting country specific regulatory needs
  • Demonstrated evidence of analytical, planning and execution capability
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Bachelors degree
