Exactech, Inc. is an orthopaedic company that develops, manufactures, markets, distributes and sells orthopaedic implant devices, related surgical instrumentation and biologic services to hospitals and physicians in the United States and internationally.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Develop and manage Exactech’s Compliance and Ethics Program to ensure that Exactech and its employees and affiliates consistently adhere to the highest ethical standards and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
2. Write and implement policies and procedures
3. Conduct effective training and education
4. Interact with sales staff and surgeon customers
5. Develop effective lines of communication between the Compliance Office and Exactech employees and affiliates
6. Conduct internal and external monitoring and auditing
7. Enforce standards through well-publicized disciplinary guidelines, and
8. Promptly conduct investigations of reported problems and undertake corrective actions as appropriate.
9. Knowing and applying Exactech’s Quality System and any appropriate federal and international standards.
10. Assisting and supporting other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.
11. Practicing Exactech’s Values.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR FULFILLING TEAM ROLE:

Education Required: BS/BA in a related legal, finance, healthcare, science or technical discipline
A JD is strongly preferred

Experience 

• Minimum 5 years experience in Compliance, Commercial, Legal, or Finance functions preferred
• Experience with healthcare-related legal statutes (e.g., Anti-Kickback, Starke, FCA, FCPA) strongly preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
