SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Cenveo, a Fortune 1000 manufacturing company, seeks an energetic, motivated individual to head its Accounts Receivable department. The ideal candidate for this position must have outstanding communication and organizational skills in order to thrive in this high volume, fast-paced environment.



JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


·          Lead and manage all aspects of the Accounts Receivable Department, including Credit, Collections and Cash applications, while promoting a positive team environment.


·          Plan and maintain a program for systematic follow-up with customers regarding collection of receivables, negotiating payment and dispute resolution.


·          Proactively drive collection efforts to not only meet, but exceed defined company DSO targets while keeping bad debt experience to a minimum.


·          Team with others in various groups to ensure open communication and information sharing to aid with problem resolution.


·          Ensure clear, consistent communication with upper management regarding key issues on a regular basis and in an organized manner.


·          Conduct diagnostic and process review of collection cycle while documenting all procedures and making recommendations for and implementing improvements.


·          Prepare and present periodic reports and analysis on bad debt, A/R aging and any other key A/R statistics.


·          Adherence to the month-end close cycle process deadlines including additional requests for each quarter-end.


·          Manage cash application making sure that all cash receipts are applied properly and timely.


·          Ensure that all key internal controls are documented, updated and tested for compliance on a quarterly basis.


·          Work closely with both internal and external auditors.




REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:


·          Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance


·          Minimum three years managerial, accounts receivable experience


·          Expert in various systems, preferably JDE &/or Lawson


·          Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft programs


·          Analyze D&B reports and maintain credit analysis summaries


·          Excellent verbal and written communication skills


·          Effective management style with the ability to resolve conflicts appropriately


·          Possess solid leadership and decision making skills with emphasis on details


·          Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, re-prioritize while communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and departments
