Manager - Curam Business Analyst

Do you have a passion for solving complex business problems? KPMG’s Advisory Services Practice focuses on fundamental business issues — managing risk, increasing revenues, controlling costs — that organizations, across various industries, should address in order to help them flourish. We help companies to identify and manage risks inherent in business processes and technology systems that support business objectives, and provide them with the information needed to help them meet their strategic and financial goals. Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Manager, Curam Business Analyst/Developer to join us in our New York City office.

IT Project Advisory services can help organizations identify and mitigate the risk of IT project failure and monitor important project milestones. KPMG's project management professionals focus on enhancing the processes surrounding project and program management offices and evaluating project deliverables. Services encompass a full range of project governance and advisory services over the full project lifecycle, from business case through to execution and close out.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain/manage client relationships
• Provide subject matter expertise for specific technologies/business functions
• Perform risk assessment on project through out the SDLC
• Provide guidance to junior members regarding SDLC artifacts and review key deliverables created by system integrators
• Develop (define, build solution and marketing collateral, develop pursuit plan, etc.) and deliver advisory solutions for the Public Sector/Government Industry
• Manage engagements according to KPMG’s financial/cost management policies
• Mentor Advisory staff and adhere to professional practice requirements

Qualifications:
• Minimum three years experience with the Curam Case Management System
• Curam Developer and/or Business Analyst Certified preferred
• Hands on experience with creating business requirements, design documents, test plans and testing is mandatory
• Seven plus years industry experience
• Prior project experience in J2EE environment with full SDLC experience
• State and Local Government experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting from an accredited college/university
