Job Purpose:

  1. Provide support to the Director of Customer Insight for all research initiatives globally

Key results area:

  1. Support Marketing and Sales globally by interpreting findings and providing recommendations based on primary research for new/existing products
  2. Utilize syndicated research services/studies to overlay primary research
    1. Provide Marketing and Sales with KPIs to help evaluate their yearly goals/objectives
    2. Support on-line initiatives by reporting key metrics tracked by the Omniture tool on Hertz.com
    3. Provide competitive insight of on-line traffic through use of the Hitwise tool.
      1. Develop useful relationships with insight bodies and academic institutions
      2. Create customer and staff feedback forums
      3. Provide research  support to other Hertz business units (e.g. HERC, Connect)

Educational Background: 

Minimum 4 year college degree

 

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 7 years experience in Marketing research.  Knowledge of web analytic tools such as Omniture and Hitwise is helpful

 

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of primary research skills including questionnaire design, analytics, drawing actionable conclusions based on strategies/objectives
  • Marketing

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Customer centric

 

Competencies:   

  • Primary

ü   Strategic thinking, detailed oriented; very organized, diligent

 

  • Familiarity with web analytic tools such as Hitwise and/or Omniture preferred
